News reporting

Our press office team will always endeavour to accommodate filming requests from broadcast news journalists. Media should contact the press office before arriving on site as permission may be required. Details of locations for satellite trucks and radio cars can be provided on request.

Access to airside locations is security restricted, but may be permitted where particularly relevant to a news story. In such instances, all media must provide a passport or photo driving license and will be escorted at all times while airside. Filming of the security search area, security procedures or security staff is prohibited.

Commercial filming

With the exception of news media, our ability to assist with filming requests is restricted by security considerations, availability of resources and subject to location charges. Productions with an aviation theme or which promote the South West region will be prioritised. Unfortunately, due to the volume of enquiries, we are unable to accommodate student film-makers.
