Training objectives:
Delegates are formatively assessed and will demonstrate competence in utilising fire fighting equipment as part of a fire fighting team. The professional approach to the training will enable the delegate to prepare fire fighting equipment in readiness for fire fighting duties and demonstrate their ability to use the equipment safely and correctly.
They will be able to compare the performance of different tactics and techniques in relation to fire spread and damage limitation and identify the importance of leadership, communication and teamwork whilst appreciating the importance of fire team safety and the maintenance of equipment.
