Trakai Island
  1. Visit the M K Ciurlionis Gallery

    The gallery commemorates the work of the early 20th century avant-garde artist M. K. Čiurlionis who sought to combine painting and music into a single artistic medium.

  2. See the Kaunas Cathedral Basilica

    The largest Gothic church in Lithuania, with a stunning Baroque interior, dedicated to apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

  3. Explore the Kaunas Botanical Garden

    The garden currently covers 62 hectares of land, with 517 square meters of conservatories and experimental greenhouses, and is the showcase for local plant life.

  4. Discover Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital city

    The Old Town of Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over a thousand medieval buildings, is a must visit! Many different architectural styles can be seen in the Old Town - from the Gothic of St. Anne’s Church to the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Classic styles evident in the Old University.

  5. Take a trip to Trakai, a small and quiet setttlement surrounded by lakes

    In ancient times Trakai was called the Town on Water. Visit Trakai Castle, the only Eastern European castle that was built on an island or take a stroll down Karaimu Street and see the famous single-storey wooden houses.
