Holiday company targets South West sun-seekers
A holiday company has announced its first flights from Bristol, increasing the choice available for South West holidaymakers in the market for a summer break. Kiss Flights will fly from the region’s airport to Tenerife and Sharm el Sheikh from the beginning of July until the end of October.
Flights to Sharm el Sheikh, on Egypt’s Red Sea, will operate every Thursday from 2nd July, while the Tenerife flight will operate weekly from Friday 3rd July. Both are traditionally popular destinations from Bristol, and bring welcome additional capacity to meet demand for seats. Fares for Sharm el Sheikh start at £271 return for adults, with return flights to Tenerife available from £210 including taxes.
Shaun Browne, Aviation Director at Bristol International Airport, said
“The Kiss Flights programme increases choice for customers booking a holiday from Bristol International this summer. We are delighted they will be flying to two such popular destinations.”
Abbey Thomas, National Sales Manager for Kiss Flights said:
“Kiss Flights has received huge demand for local services and now we are able to offer customers these new departures from Bristol International Airport. This further underlines our commitment to the general public to provide low cost seats to popular holiday destinations from their local airport."
Kiss Flights offers a programme of flights from Gatwick, Manchester, East Midlands and Bristol to Greece, Turkey, Egypt and the Canary Islands. Kiss is fully ATOL bonded (the Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing protects travellers from losing their money or being stranded abroad should their travel firm fail).
The Tenerife service will be operated by Viking Airlines, with the Sharm el Sheikh flight operated by Koral Blue using a new generation Airbus A319. Customers should contact their local travel agent for further details and to book flights.
