Special Assistance parking
There are special assistance bays in all car parks which are clearly marked. In addition, we have help buttons at all entry barriers, and courtesy buses that are low loading and have space to accommodate wheelchairs.
For general enquiries regarding special assistance at the Airport please call 0871 334 4444, or 01275 473670 for Minicom users.
Special assistance parking bays are located closer to the terminal in each car park. Leave your disabled parking badge on the dashboard. Our customer service staff are available 24 hours to assist. Press the help buttons located at the special assistance points within the car parks, on the car park payment machines or on the car park entry and exit barriers.
Passengers who are flying and require assistance should arrange this in advance with their airline. Nearly 5,000 passengers with reduced mobility use Bristol Airport every month. By arranging assistance in advance, passengers help to ensure adequate resources are available to ensure an efficient service.
Individuals requesting assistance are reminded that they will still be required to pass through the standard check in and security processes, and may have to wait to board the aircraft while specialist equipment is put in place. It may not be possible for family or friends accompanying a passenger with reduced mobility to remain with them at all times throughout the airport journey.
