easyJet announces two new routes from Bristol Airport to Kefalonia and Pula

easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has today announced that it will start two new routes from Bristol Airport to the Ionian island of Kefalonia and the Croatian city of Pula.
easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has today announced that it will start two new routes from Bristol Airport to the Ionian island of Kefalonia and the Croatian city of Pula from next year. The new routes went on sale this morning at www.easyjet.com.
The new service to Kefalonia will start on 22 April 2017, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays during summer with fares starting from £30.49* one-way. Kefalonia is renowned for its picturesque beaches, traditional fishing villages and tavernas. Such is its stunning backdrop and scenery, it was made the setting for Louis de Berniere’s famous novel-turned-film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.
Pula, which is also a summer service, will operate every Saturday from 27 May 2017 with fares starting from £35.49* one-way. Pula offers a unique setting ideal for those wanting to enjoy a beautiful city rich with history. The 3,000 year-old city is located on Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula and hosts a number of cultural sites including a Roman Ampitheatre (which is also used as a venue for regular summer concerts and film festivals), the Temple of Augustus and plenty of beautiful beaches.

In addition to the announcement, easyJet’s first flight from Bristol to the Italian city of Turin took-off for the first time on Sunday (11 December). Starting in time for the ski season, passengers can take advantage of the easy access to some of Europe’s most popular ski destinations from Turin Airport. The main city area itself also has a wealth of history and is ideal for wandering around exploring the baroque-style streets.
