Bristol Airport's Jobs Fairs Create Flying Start to 2017

Created: 17th Jan 2017

Following the success of previous events last year, Bristol Airport will be hosting two Jobs Fairs to highlight the range of current job opportunities on offer.

The Airport will be teaming up with other employers based across its site at the two events in January and February, giving prospective candidates the chance to find out more about the different roles available from customer service, hospitality, retail, airline handling and security.

Around 3,000 people are employed at the Airport, which handled 7.5 million passengers in 2016.  But, with permission to develop facilities to handle up to 10 million passengers per annum in future, the workforce is forecast to grow.

The Jobs Fairs will provide an insight into seasonal jobs available for anyone interested in working at the Airport, with several of the 45 different employers on site represented, including security provider, ICTS, travel catering specialist, SSP, and duty free shopping operator, WDF. Other companies present will include airline handling agent, Swissport, Superdrug, Moneycorp, Hilton, Europcar, Claires Accessories, bmi regional and special assistance company, OCS.

The Jobs Fairs will be held in the Administration Building at Bristol Airport on the following dates:

• Friday 27 January, from 17.00 until 19.00
• Saturday 4 February, from 1000 until 1200
