Bristol Airport gets into the carnival spirit
Created: 7th Jul 2019
As St Paul’s Carnival returned to streets of Bristol for its 51st year, Bristol Airport is pleased to announced its sponsorship of a children’s float in this year’s carnival parade.
St Paul’s Carnival is an iconic Bristol event and celebrates African Caribbean culture, as well as the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of the city. The sponsorship is part of Bristol Airport’s ongoing commitment to support organisations that deliver real community benefits to residents across the region.
Diana Deans, Engagement and Consultation Executive at Bristol Airport said: ‘Last year over 100,000 people came to carnival and we’re pleased to be able to play our part in supporting a free, fun and vibrant celebration of African and Caribbean culture and heritage.’
