Sensory Room

Our sensory room is designed specifically for passengers with disabilities such as autism, dementia or cognitive impairment, who would benefit from a safe and interactive place when in unfamiliar surroundings.

The new space is located after security and is designed specifically for people with autism, dementia, cognitive impairment or other special needs.

Located in the Special Assistance area in the departure lounge. It is wheelchair accessible and free for customers departing from the airport, with 45-minute sessions available through our booking system.

Open daily between 04:00 and 21:00. Sessions start on the hour, with the last booking at 20:00 hours. 

Bookings are limited to four people per session and supervision is required at all times when the room is occupied. Pre-booking essential.

We are pleased to provide this facility; however, Bristol Airport and OCS cannot accept responsibility for injury or damage to personal belongings whilst using this sensory room.  Adult supervision must be provided by the user at all times whilst using the sensory room.
