Facilities for babies and children
We know it’s not always easy to travel with babies, toddlers and children, so we’ve put together some useful information to ensure a smooth journey through the terminal.
Before you travel
Parking
Make the most of our “meet and greet” service where you can leave your car in the Express Drop Off car park and have it ready and waiting for your return.
For the best value and secure on-site parking with a drop off at the terminal, pre book 'Silverzone'. For more information on car parking or to book, please click here
At the Airport
Security
Under current security restrictions, passengers are required to carry any liquid baby food in a small re-sealable container which they will be asked to taste before going through security.
Allow plenty of time to be processed or pre-book Fast Track security, the dedicated express security channel.
Food and drink
Family favourite Dexters offers a dedicated kids menu to suit all tastes.
Bar Zero9 has a kids menu offering a hot meal and a drink for just £4.25. Bar Zero9 also has bottle warming facilities, simply ask the staff behind the bar. Click here for a full menu. In August there's also a dedicated children's area with board games and games console.

All restaurants and cafes provide high chairs and an electrical 13 amp baby food warming unit. Just ask the staff for details. All restaurants and cafes will provide hot water for customers in a suitable container depending on requirements and subject to safety precautions. Please note that due to safety precautions, staff are unable to use microwaves to warm baby food or milk.
Baby food, milk and nappies – pre-order service available
Superdrug, located after security, take pre-orders and requests for baby food, milk and nappies.
Baby changing facilities
Baby changing facilities can be found throughout the terminal, either inside or nearby the ladies toilets.
Getting to your aircraft
If you require your child’s buggy until you board the plane and your flight has been allocated a boarding gate within the terminal walkway (Gates 8-16), you will be required to negotiate a flight of stairs. If you are travelling alone with children and require assistance, please ask for a member of Bristol Airport staff at the Customer Information Point on the check-in concourse prior to passing through security.
Keep them entertained
We have a great range of toys and games in World Duty Free located after security.
WHSmiths Books has a great children’s range with chart books on Buy One Get One Free, colouring packs and Top Trumps in the main store. Alternatively, Claire's Accessories has lots of themed books and jewellery. There's also a great selection of technology for the whole family at the Dixons Travel store.
