Passenger drop off and pick up
Whether you’re dropping off or picking up passengers, we have a choice of car park options available.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Located on the Transport Interchange, the Drop Off & Pick Up car park is exclusively for express drop-offs and quick collections. Just a 3-5 minute walk from the terminal, it's designed for convenience, with prices starting from £8.50 for 10 minutes
Please note: This car park has a height restriction of 2.5m. Vehicles exceeding this limit should use the Minibus/Over Height car park.
If you are dropping off and will be longer than 10 minutes, we recommend that you try the Short Stay car park. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our Waiting Zone car park that allows up to 1 hour free.
Waiting Zone
The Waiting Zone is located close to the Car Rental Centre and allows up to 1 hour free of charge that may be used for the waiting of passenger pick up, prior to collection from the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park.
If passengers do wish to be collected or dropped off in this area, there is access to a frequent bus service to/from the Transport Interchange, which is short walk to the terminal building via covered bridge. Please follow pedestrian signage to the bus stop at the Car Rental Centre.
Toilets and litter bins are available within the Waiting Zone.
Red Routes
To maintain high levels of road safety on site, Red Routes and a no stopping policy are in operation across the site. Please be aware drivers are not allowed to stop, unload or park, on our road networks or Red Routes even if picking up or dropping off customers (please use the relevant car park).
Red Routes and no stopping areas are clearly marked around the Airport with a combination of signage and double red line road markings. Bristol Airport operates a vehicle monitoring and enforcement system. Any vehicle not convening to the Red Route restrictions will face an enforcement charge of £100 (reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days).
Respecting our Local Communities
Bristol Airport is committed to working with residents, the Police and North Somerset Council to tackle the issue of Airport-related traffic in residential areas and the anti-social behaviour that accompanies it. Toilets and litter bins are available within both the Waiting Zone and Public Transport Interchange (accessible from both the Short Stay and Drop Off & Pick Up car parks). Please respect our local communities by using the appropriate facilities provided on-site.
