Rosie Learner and Andrew Skipp toast the new 3D artwork

Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Royal Crescent in Bath and Glastonbury Tor –  local artist paints a picture of popular landmarks in the South West to welcome visitors to the region.

Bristol International Airport commissioned local artist Rosie Learner to design artwork for its international arrivals hall to inspire and welcome visitors flying into the South West.   Rosie was sourced through Picture Business, a Bristol based art consultancy that recommends the work of local artists, and chose her favourite regional landmarks to feature in 3D.

The work, entitled ‘Gateway to the South West Triptych’, is made up of three 3D canvasses, each depicting a different famous feature of the South West.

Jacqui Mills, Product Development Manager at Bristol International, said: “Displaying the artwork in International Arrivals not only gives us the chance to show off the talents of one of our local artists, but also offers inbound travellers a taste of what the region has to offer.

“As the premiere gateway to the South West, the airport is a really fitting place to display depictions of some of the region’s highlights.”
