Training objectives:
At the end of the course the delegate will be assessed and given the opportunity to demonstrate competence in utilising Breathing Apparatus as part of a fire fighting team.
The delegate will be able to efficiently follow the manufacturers donning procedures and demonstrate their ability to use breathing apparatus safely and correctly, utilising the appropriate search and rescue techniques.
They will also be able to interpret the guidance and legislation concerning Breathing Apparatus Entry Control and identify with the importance of, leadership, communication and team work whilst wearing breathing apparatus and appreciating the importance of Fire Team safety and the maintenance of equipment.
