The Airport Flyer Express Link is the only bus service linking Bristol Temple Meads railway station, Bristol bus station, Clifton and Bristol Airport.
Route
From Bristol Airport, the service operates two alternating routes, the A1 linking Bedminster, Temple Meads and the bus station and the A2 service which serves the city centre and key hotels as well as Temple Meads and the bus station.

Journey time and frequency
The journey time to the city centre is approximately 30 minutes, with services operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week*. At peak times, buses depart up to every 10 minutes from key locations including Bristol Airport, Temple Meads and Bristol Bus Station.
* Please refer to timetable for the first service departing daily at each individual stop.
Hotels
The route covers key hotels such as the Radisson Blu Hotel, Mercure Holland House, The Bristol Hotel, The Grand, Ibis Temple Meads Quay and Ibis Bristol Centre Hotels, The Brigstow Hotel, The Novotel Hotel, Future Inn, Ramada Plaza, Marriott City Centre Hotel and the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel - all within a short walking distance of city centre stops.

Clifton connections
Clifton destinations can be reached from the Clifton Triangle or College Green stops by connecting with local First Bus service numbers 1, 54, 54a, 40, 40a and the 8 and 9 services.
For customers requiring travel from Clifton to Bristol Airport, please view the A2 timetable (to Bristol). Customers can board the Flyer at any of the A2 stops for onward transport to Bristol Airport. The A2 service will stop at the bus station en route to Bristol Airport. The service number will change to A1 when leaving the bus station. There is no need to change buses.

- Service operates every day except Christmas Day (limited services on Boxing Day and New Years Day).
- One month validity on all return tickets purchased.
- All England Concessionary Travelcards accepted.
- Local area Student Photo ID Cards accepted (UWE, Bristol, Bath and Bath Spa).
- Family return ticket discount applies to two Adults and two Children (under 16 years of age).
- Child fare applies to any person aged five to 15 years of age inclusive.
- Accompanied infants aged 0 to four years of age inclusive travel free of charge.
Train and coach connections
The Airport Flyer Express Link allows easy connections to a vast rail network accessible from Temple Meads railway station, which is served at 10 minute intervals during peak times. Train tickets to most UK railway stations as well as the Airport Flyer Express Link can be purchased from the rail ticket machine located within the arrivals concourse at Bristol Airport.
Local bus and National Express coach connections are also available from Marlborough Street bus station. More >>
How to book
- Book online.
- Pay the driver as you board.
- Book combined Train/Flyer tickets at www.thetrainline.com or collect tickets from your local train station for all connecting journeys via Temple Meads.
- Book combined National Express/Flyer tickets at www.nationalexpress.com for all connecting coach journeys via Bristol bus station.
- Buy a Through Ticket on any First Bristol/First Somerset & Avon bus to the City Centre for all local bus connections via Bristol bus station.
Please note: All National Express coach through tickets need to be collected prior to your date of travel, as there is currently no facility at Bristol Airport. Rail tickets can be collected from the Fast ticket machine located in the arrivals concourse at the Airport.
The Airport Express does not operate on Christmas Day and a limited timetable applies on Boxing Day and New Years Day.
