Co-operative Travel brochure includes Bristol departures
Bristol International Airport is among a select band of regional airports to feature in the new holiday brochure from The Co-operative Travel.
The brochure – which marks the launch of the company’s own tour operation – showcases summer 2010 holidays from Bristol to Turkey, Cyprus and the Balearics, and boasts a number of family and couple-friendly options.
Shaun Browne, Aviation Director at Bristol International Airport, said:
“The launch of a tour operation by The Co-operative Travel is great news for the industry and the consumer. It adds to the choice of holidays on offer to customers in the South West and Wales, and demonstrates the demand for flights from Bristol International.”
Mike Greenacre, Managing Director of The Co-operative Travel, said:
“South West holidaymakers have trusted The Co-operative Travel to organize their holidays for many years, so it is a logical progression for us to offer a holiday that is solely ours.
“The destinations and resorts have been nominated and recommended by our extensive network of holiday consultants, and throughout the brochure they add their personal experience of each to the comprehensive review of the facilities.”
The Co-operative Travel was the first high street travel agency to become carbon neutral across its business operations and will donate £1 to the Travel Foundation for every passenger booking a holiday from the new brochure.
Some of the benefits of booking with The Co-operative Travel include:
- Conveniently timed flights for the majority of departures
- 20 kg luggage allowance on all flights
- Free child places
- Clear, honest and open pricing
- In-resort representation and 24-hour service cover via telephone
