News Release (10/11/11)
A new initiative designed to reward Bristol Airport staff who go ‘the extra mile’ has been launched. Anyone working at the Airport can nominate a colleague for an Above and Beyond award, with rewards of up to £500 in value given out on a quarterly basis to the star performers.
Each nominee is assessed against the Airport’s brand pillars – Exceptional People, Progressive Place and Serving our Region. Among the first round of winners were firefighters who gave first and safety training presentations to local schoolchildren, a member of the Ground Transportation department who used a day off to clear litter from the A38, and an engineer who helped colleagues defuse a situation involving a disruptive passenger.
If you experience service that goes Above and Beyond when using Bristol Airport, be sure to let a member of the Airport team know. It could lead to recognition for the member of staff responsible.
