News Release (16/10/12)
easyJet celebrated a major milestone today when its 30 millionth passenger at Bristol Airport boarded a flight to Naples.
Sarah Hodder and husband Andrew, from Rode in Somerset, were the lucky winners of return tickets to a destination of their choice.
Ali Gayward, UK Commercial Manager for easyJet, said:
“We are delighted to be celebrating the 30 millionth passenger from Bristol Airport – this milestone is a great reminder of easyJet’s commitment to the airport. We’re equally committed to the travellers in the region and will continue to offer the best choice of destinations at the lowest possible fares.”
Shaun Browne, Aviation Director at Bristol Airport, added:
“This latest milestone highlights just how many passengers over the past ten years have taken advantage of the convenience of flying from Bristol Airport with easyJet. For over a decade, easyJet has helped make the world a smaller place for people across the South West and Wales, making it easier to see new places, experience new places, visit friends and family or do business in new markets.”
easyJet serves 44 destinations from Bristol Airport, including a recently launched flight to Copenhagen.
