  1. What identification do I need when flying?

    The type of identification you can use varies depending on where you are travelling.  Please check with the Airline or Tour Operator (useful links) that you are travelling with for further information.

  2. What time should I check-in for a flight?

    Check-in Desks open 3 hours before departure. Passengers must allow adequate time to complete the check-in process and proceed through security.

    Passengers are strongly advised to check-in at the airport at least 2 hours before a scheduled flight and 3 hours before a charter flight. For full details you should refer to your ticket or contact the Airline that you are travelling with or the relevant Tour Operator.

    If you are travelling with the following Airlines take advantage of increased or unrestricted opening times:
    Air Southwest open from 0530-2030
    easyJet open from 0400-2130
    Eastern Airways open from 0530-1930
    Thomson Airways open 4 hours prior to departure

  3. What is my luggage allowance?

    Details of your allowance can be found on your flight ticket, however please contact your airline directly if you are in any doubt. For further information visit the Baggage & Security page.

  4. What items are not permitted on board flights?

    It is an offence to carry certain items onto an aircraft cabin. View a list of dangerous & prohibited items. For further information visit the Baggage & Security page.
  5. How do I find live flight information?

  6. Who do I contact regarding pet travel?

    Contact Overhill Kennels on 01275 832489 or email k9meg@overhill.co.uk for further information regarding pet transportation from Bristol Airport. Further details about the Pet Passport Scheme is available at www.defra.gov.uk
  7. I need to speak to Easyjet, how can I do this?

    You will need to contact easyJet directly on 0905 821 0905 for new bookings and amendments to existing bookings, or 0871 244 2366 to speak to a Customer Service advisor. easyJet do not have an internal airport phone number and we will be unable to transfer you if you call the Bristol Airport switchboard.

  8. Who should I contact regarding Special Assistance at the airport?

    All special assistance requirements should be pre-booked through your tour operator and/or airline prior to arrival at the airport. For general enquiries regarding special assistance at the airport please telephone 01275 473403.

  9. Who should I contact regarding lost property/bags or damaged luggage?

    Personal Items
    For enquiries regarding personal items of hand luggage lost at the airport or on an aircraft please telephone 01275 473573 with details of when the item was misplaced, your flight details and a description of the item.

    Luggage Lost In Transit
    If you arrived at Bristol Airport within the last 3 days and your luggage is still outstanding please contact Menzies on 01275 473805 for easyJet flights or Servisair on 01275 473543 for all other airline operators.

    If you arrived at Bristol Airport more than 3 days ago and your luggage is still outstanding please contact your airline directly.

    Damaged Bags
    If any item of hold luggage has been returned damaged following a flight please write to the airline directly with copies of your flight details:
