- Relax on the many beautiful beaches
Corsica has 1000km of glorious coastline and close to 200 beaches. There are fine and coarse white and golden sand beaches, plus pebbly beaches all with fantastic quality of water.
- Explore the Genoese citadel
The town's main historical site is its Genoese citadel which was built in the 16th century for the Genoese governor of Corsica and its 15th century Sainte-Marie Cathedral. On the way to the citadel fortress, visitors can stop at the botanical gardens Jardin Romieu, which are open from 8am to 8pm in the summer.
