Changes to our Car Parks

From 1st November 2023 until Summer 2025 the Long Stay Car Park will close.  This is to enable work to commence on the build of a second Multi-Storey Car Park and a new public transport interchange.  The Short Stay and Pick Up Car Park will remain open but will be relocated to the opposite side of the Multi-Storey Car park.  All other car parks will remain unchanged. 

From 5th October 2023 until Summer 2025 the Short Stay and Pick Up Car Park will move to opposite side of the Multi-Storey Car Park.  This is to enable work to commence on the build of a second Multi-Storey Car Park and a new public transport interchange.   

There will be an on demand bus service operating between the terminal and this area.

As part of our Airport Transformation Programme, an 18 month construction programme will start this autumn.  This will include the creation of a second Multi-Storey Car Park and a brand new public transport interchange, all with direct access to the terminal via a covered walkway.  The opening is planned for Summer 2025 and will completely transform the customer experience.

You will be contacted by our Customer Service team and will be automatically re-booked into the Multi-Storey Car Park.

Passenger drop off remains unchanged.  For passenger pick-up, the only change is that the car park has been relocated to the opposite side of the Multi-Storey Car Park.  There will be clear directions to follow as you enter the airport. 

No, Silver Zone remains unchanged.  Customers will still park their car, check-in and drop their keys before catching the bus to the terminal.

The following changes will take place:

All local bus and coach services will continue to arrive and depart from the coach park area, just a few minutes walk from the terminal.

To allow for construction works, the bus waiting building will be closed and covered shelters will be in place in the coach park.
