Bristol International prepares for take-off
Preparations are underway at Bristol International for the imminent launch of services by German airline, Lufthansa. From the end of this month a three-times daily flight to Frankfurt will not only link the South West to Germany’s financial centre, but also enable passengers to access onward connections to destinations across Germany, Europe and the world.
In preparation for the 31st March launch, activity is underway across the airport, from training check in staff on Lufthansa’s systems, to ordering German newspapers for the business lounge.
Alison Roberts, Terminal General Manager at Bristol International Airport, said:
“A full service scheduled airline like Lufthansa prides itself on its great customer service and high quality product, and we are working hard to make sure we are ready to help deliver both to the thousands of customers who will be flying to Frankfurt in less than a fortnight’s time.”
To mark the launch of the new service, Lufthansa is offering a range of special fares on many of the airline’s 14,224 flights a week to 207 destinations in 81 countries worldwide. These include one-way to Frankfurt from £39 and return fares to Prague from £165 Economy Class, £589 Business Class; and Delhi from £526 Economy Class, £1555 Business Class. All fares are inclusive of all taxes and charges.
