Leading regional airline starts operating winter schedule from Bristol Airport including two new winter routes to Belfast City and the Isle of Man
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the UK’s Number One Domestic carrier, starts operating its 2010/11 Winter programme this weekend from Bristol, offering travellers a choice of up to 74 flights a week on four key routes, including two new services to George Best Belfast City airport and the Isle of Man. Seats are available for travel from October 31st with fares from £24.99 one way including taxes and charges.
This weekend also marks the start of Flybe’s new codeshare agreement with Air France, giving customers an exciting package of more choice, more flights, more routes, increased frequency and enhanced services to and from France. As a result of the agreement, all Flybe services between the UK and Paris, with the exception of those to and from Southampton, will now operate out of Terminal 2E at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, providing customers with seamless and easy access to all of Air France’s extensive international services. Southampton flights now operate from Paris Orly Ouest (West) airport.
Flybe’s full winter schedule includes 17 new routes across its network on an affordable range of services that includes key business routes, winter sun getaways and 10 popular European ski routes.

- George Best Belfast City
- Paris Charles De Gaulle [now operating out of Terminal 2E]
- Isle of Man

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, comments: “We are especially pleased to be able to offer passengers the additional choice of flying with us between Bristol and Belfast City following Ryanair’s withdrawal from the Northern Ireland airport and to extend our Isle of Man flights through to the winter. The diversity of our winter 2010-11 network is greatly expanded as it also incorporates the wealth of additional opportunities resulting from the start of our new codeshare agreement with Air France - and those through our established franchise partner, Loganair.
“Flybe is fully aware of the need to continue to provide affordable travel especially during these challenging economic times and we are confident that our extensive winter schedule includes the selection of popular routes, including winter sun and ski destinations that will allow families to keep on the move this winter.”
