Supporting education in our community
At Bristol Airport, we take pride in our role as a local employer and are committed to supporting education within our community. We work closely with local schools, colleges and universities to raise awareness of careers in aviation, inspire the next generation and provide exciting learning opportunities for students.
Our team offers two ways for your school to get involved:
Behind-the-scenes visit to Bristol Airport
We welcome school groups to explore the airport and discover how it operates with a behind-the-scenes tour. Students can meet members of our team, take part in an engaging STEM activity, learn about future work experience, apprenticeship and career opportunities, and also enjoy exclusive access to our private viewing platform overlooking the airport.
Airport team visit to your school
Alternatively, our colleagues can visit your school to deliver interactive educational sessions. These include insights into daily life at the airport, an overview of the diverse career paths available, a hands-on STEM activity exploring travel and geography, and a Q&A session with our team.
