Charity of the year

Every year, Bristol Airport colleagues come together to raise vital funds in aid of local charities, demonstrating their commitment to supporting communities across the region.

Following a hugely successful two-year partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC), which raised over £210,000 through a variety of fundraising events, Bristol Airport is thrilled to announce its next charity partnership.

In January 2026, we proudly introduced Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) as our new official charity partner for the next two years. CHSW provides specialist care, respite, and support through its three hospices across the South West, creating a “home-from-home” environment for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Recognising the vital work CHSW does and the profound impact it has on local communities, Bristol Airport is dedicated to supporting this incredible cause.

Through a packed programme of fundraising activities and colleague engagement initiatives, this partnership aims not only to raise essential financial support but also to amplify awareness of CHSW’s services and the difference they make in the lives of families during their most challenging moments.
