Security Procurement - Expressions of Interest
Created: 28th Jul 2021Bristol Airport is required to provide a secure environment to support its operations which safeguards customers, airlines, ground personnel and the general public.
Bristol Airport is inviting expressions of interests from potential partners to take part in a two-stage tendering process for the provision of its security services at the Airport.
Security Services at the Airport includes but not limited to, the staffed security of its Central Search Areas and Hold Baggage Screening.
The procurement will run to the following timetable with suitable suppliers being able to express an interest and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) through its e-tendering system In-Tend by Friday 20 August 2021.
The anticipated timescales for this procurement are as follows:-
Expressions of interest/PQQs Deadline – 20th August 2021
PQQ Shortlisted – 27th August 2021
Invitation to Tenders issued to Shortlist – W/C 6th September 2021
Tender Deadline – 15th October 2021
Evaluation Period (including interviews if required) – 15th October – 24th November 2021
Intention to Award – 26th November 2021
Award – 10th January 2022
Contract Start – 1st April 2022
Contract Term – 3 years with the option to extend for up to a period of 5 years
