Noise Mitigation Grants

Our local community fund provides grants for noise mitigation, including new windows and/or acoustic loft insulation for local residents.

Every year external acoustics consultants compile a list of eligible properties based on the summer’s flight programme. You can use the interactive map below to see if your property is eligible for funding.

The scheme has been prepared for 2026 and will be open across two periods to provide two opportunities within the year for residents to apply for funds. The first set of applications will be open from the 1st April to the 1st June and the second from the 1st July to the 1st September for consideration by the Management Committee.  

Any applications submitted outside of these dates will not be considered.

Please ensure to fully read the guidelines below before applying.

For grant applications approved in 2026, please ensure the work is completed by the end of 2026 in order to receive the airport grant.
