Bristol Flyers and easyJet sign elite partnership

Bristol Flyers is proud to welcome easyJet as an Elite Partner. The partnership will support the airline’s local recruitment drive, with opportunities as cabin crew currently available in the UK.

easyJet has been based in Bristol for over 20 years and in that time has grown to become the largest airline at Bristol having flown over 72 million passengers since operations launched. With 17 based aircraft and over 650 crew members, easyJet provides Bristol passengers with 70 routes across the UK, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

The airline is looking to recruit over 1,000 new cabin crew across its network this year and is tackling stereotypes about the profession through campaigns to encourage more over 45’s, career changers and more men to consider joining the career and show that life experience and transferable skills such as customer service, communication, teamwork and people management make many people ideal candidates for the role.

As part of the partnership, easyJet will be sponsoring an upcoming Bristol Flyers home game.

Flyers Commercial Manager Steve Devereux commented:

“We are delighted to add a brand such as easyJet to our list of Elite Partners for the 2023/24 season.

“easyJet has a significant base in Bristol and we are excited to begin working together to support them in achieving their goals”.

Alison Jackson, Head of Talent Acquisition, from easyJet commented:

“We are proud to be partnering with Bristol Flyers to help drive awareness of our current cabin crew recruitment drive, which aims to tackle stereotypes about the profession and encourage even more people to consider this fantastic career.

“Bristol is a key base for easyJet and the Flyers’ ability to bring together supporters of all ages and backgrounds makes this partnership the perfect match for easyJet as we want to ensure our people represent the communities we serve.”
