PRM & Coaching Procurement - Expressions of Interest
Created: 21st Apr 2023Bristol Airport provides an accessible environment for all its customers. This includes the provision of the regulated service “Passengers with Reduced Mobility” (PRM) and our Airside Coaching Operation.
The PRM service at Bristol Airport ensures all passengers with a disability or reduced mobility have the required level of support. This support includes, but is not limited to:
- Travelling through the Airport
- Boarding and disembarking Aircraft
The Airside Coaching Operation at Bristol Airport transports inbound and outbound customers between Aircraft and the Terminal building through a safe, secure and reliable service.
Bristol Airport is inviting expressions of interests from potential partners to take part in a two-stage tendering process for the provision of the above services at the Airport.
The procurement will run to the following timetable with suitable suppliers being able to express an interest and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) through its e-tendering system In-Tend by Friday 12th May 2023.
Successful organisations at the Pre-Qualification (PQQ) stage will be invited to tender for the following Lots: -
Lot 1 – PRM Services
Lot 2 – Coaching Services
Lot 3 – Both PRM and Coaching Services.
The anticipated timescales for this procurement are as follows: -
Expressions of interest/PQQs Deadline – 12th May 2023
PQQ Shortlisted – 26th May 2023
Invitation to Tenders issued to Shortlist – 2nd June 2023
Tender Deadline – 14th July 2023
Evaluation Period (including interviews if required) – 1st September
Intention to Award – 20th September
Award – October 2023
Contract Start – January 2024
Contract Term – 3 years with the option to extend for up to a period of 5 years
