Jet2 expands Summer 25 programme from Bristol Airport with brand-new Greek destination

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a brand-new Greek island destination from Bristol Airport today, meaning customers and independent travel agents are now able to choose from an even bigger range of summer favourites.

In response to strong demand for Greek holidays, today’s expansion has seen the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator reveal the new Greek island destinations of Leros for Summer 25.

Customers can reach Leros via Kos Airport, with up to three weekly services departing from Bristol Airport in Summer 25. Customers travelling with Jet2holidays have ferry and shuttle transfers included.

Part of the Dodecanese islands, Leros is known for its crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere, making it the ultimate pick for a relaxing, go-slow summer holiday.

Leros also boasts the opportunity to take in three different snapshots of the island through the capital, Platanos, with its ridge of hills and clusters of windmills; Agia Marina – offering traditional residences, stately homes and architecture; and Panteli, a traditional fishing village. Due to its ideal location, it is easy to explore nearby islands of Kalymnos, Kos and Nisyros too.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said:

“The launch of Leros, a stunning and brand-new Greek island from Bristol Airport, is fantastic news for our customers and it comes in direct response to the demand for our award-winning holidays. As a result of today’s announcement, we are expanding our summer sun programme significantly, and we know that the introduction of the island of Leros will be hugely popular with customers and independent travel agents.”

Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director, Bristol Airport said:

“We are delighted that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are extending the destinations available from Bristol Airport for Summer 2025. The Greek Island of Leros adds even more choice and flexibility for customers in the region wanting to fly from their local airport and explore a new destination. We look forward to continuing to work with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, so our customers can explore even more beautiful places.”
