Bristol Airport announces new taxi partnership with Zoom Cars
Created: 30th Jan 2026From Sunday 1 February, family-run local taxi firm Zoom Cars will be based at Bristol Airport offering customers a high standard of transport and customer service providing journeys to Bristol, North Somerset and beyond.
Zoom Cars, based in Bristol was recently awarded the five-year tender due to their commitment to good driving and employee standards including training and support; a modern fleet of vehicles with many less than two years old; their environmental credentials and a commitment that all vehicles will be electric by 2030, many of which already are. Cars with disability access are also already hybrid or electric. The family-run company also has accounts with many businesses across the city, so it is hoped this will reduce the number of empty cars travelling back and forth.
Zoom Cars take over from Arrow Cars who were based at the Airport for more than 10 years. The existing taxi office, which can be found on the forecourt between the Public Transport Interchange (PTI) and terminal building will be refurbished and rebranded shortly.
Customers can pre-book Zoom Cars using their website, by calling 0117 955 5555 or upon arrival walking to the taxi office to book a car. Once booked customers should head to the Drop Off and Pick Up car park on the top level of the PTI where there are dedicated taxi bays right outside the doors.
Liz Macnaughton, Head of Ground Transportation at Bristol Airport said:
“We’ve had a great partnership with Arrow Cars for more than a decade. Last year we invited taxi companies to apply for the tender and Zoom Cars won that tender with their strong employee ethics and standards. We’re looking forward to working with them and hope our customers enjoy using them.”
Zoom Cars launched in 2020 and was founded by daughter, Sahara Parvaz and her father Mohammad Parvaz (known in the industry as Mr P), who brings decades of experience to the business having previously owned and ran some of the largest taxi firms in Bristol. Mum Naheed oversees driver welfare, sister Fatima manages safety and compliance, and brother Usman is based in the control room. They boast a large fleet of employed drivers who have received enhanced training including vulnerable passenger awareness and child safeguarding.
Sahara Parvaz, Chief Executive Officer for Zoom, said:
“We are incredibly excited to begin this new venture with Bristol Airport. We prioritise being on time, every time and take great pride in offering a premium service and ensuring our drivers earn a genuine living wage.”
She said that on a personal note, it was a huge achievement having grown up in the Bristol taxi industry, adding that after being born in St. Michael’s hospital in Bristol, her dad took her via his taxi office before he even took her home.
