  • The emissions boundary covered by this disclosure - Scope 1 & Scope 3 Business travel as per the Airport carbon accreditation guidance.
  • Scope 2 emissions are managed through the airports power purchase agreement.
  • The amount of residual emissions we have addressed using carbon credits (tCO₂e).
  • A project-by-project register of credits retired, with retirement dates and registry links.
  • Organisational scope - This disclosure pertains to Bristol Airport and its operational boundaries only.
  • Calculation approach: Market Based approach that is verified yearly by an independent 3rd party.

Why we use carbon credits

We prioritise reducing emissions within our operations. Carbon credits are used only to address residual emissions that remain after practicable reduction measures, as part of our wider decarbonisation plan.
